Julie K. (La Chance) Eskenazi, 64 of Eugene, OR passed-away on November 23, 2020. She was born on September 20, 1956 in Columbus, OH to parents Murdock H. and Harriet (Maki) La Chance. Julie graduated from Blair High School in Pasadena, CA and received a bachelor’s degree from Cal State in Los Angeles. Julie worked as a paralegal for over 30 years and in the last 20 years worked in the biotech field for Thermo Fisher in Eugene. Julie was an avid bird watcher who loved being in the great outdoors and especially enjoyed the flora and fauna around her home and feeding the collection of animals that were nearby. Julie was a fanatic Seattle Seahawks fan. In her youth, she loved to go fishing and as an adult she was a voracious reader. She was a member of the National Paralegal Association. Julie is survived by her former husband Bruce; her step-children, Justin Paul Eskenazi, Sherwood, OR; Jared Michael Eskenazi, Los Angeles, CA; Jessica Rose Moore, Irvine, CA and 5 grandchildren. No services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Julie’s name. Arrangements in the care of Sunset Hills Funeral Home, Eugene, OR.
